Do you have clothing, toys, books or kids' gear you'd like to sell at the sale? Thank you for your participation! The following is all you need to know about participating in the October 2019 event:
We accept:

Infant Clothing Size newborn and up

Boys’ Clothing Through size 18, including Husky

Girls’ Clothing Through size 14, pre-teen, and teen.

Uniforms/Costumes All Girl Scout, Cub and Boy Scout uniforms, dress-up costumes/clothes
-
Shoes Soccer, baseball, dress shoes, gym shoes, roller skates/blades and dance shoes.

Baby Gear High chairs, booster seats, playpens, infant seats, rockers, gliders, changing tables.
-
Books Child + Parenting Books, DVDs, computer games, video games, etc.

Toys
-
Maternity Clothing *New for 2019!
We do NOT accept:

Socks, hats, tights and underwear

Stuffed animals including beanie babies and Webkinz

VHS tapes

Adult clothing

Large furniture such as dressers or beds

Diaper pails, potty chairs, or baby baths

Car seats

Cribs

Recalled items

Animal cages of any type
The Committee reserves the right to reject any item, which then will be donated or disposed of.
Please do not sell anything you would not buy yourself.

The Fine Print

Sale items may not be reclaimed once accepted for sale.

No refunds or exchanges.

All sales are final.

We are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items.
Fill Out Tags
-
Please only use blue or black ink; do not use red ink.
-
Make sure that your Seller Number (provided when you register) is printed on both sections of your white or yellow tag.

Include an accurate description of the item. (ex. Sleeping Beauty video, Hot Pink Gap Shirt, etc.)
-
Sizing must be in number size (4T, 10). If an item has shrunk, mark according to the size child it would fit now.

Please indicate if the item is for a boy or a girl. If for a teen, please specify as well.

If you need additional tags, please request them (free!) by using the form below. Do not photocopy tags.

Prepping
Clothing
All clothing must be hung on wire hangers, like what is offered at dry cleaners
Plastic hangers will not be accepted
Hangers should be facing left with clothing hung facing forward
Two-piece outfits or PJs must be pinned together with safely pins
Connect shoes/boots by 1) tying shoelaces together, 2) using shipping or painters tape to tape together 3) using clear plastic bags or other simple form to keep pair together.
Tagging
All tags must be attached with a safety pin on the upper right corner of the clothing article*
Please pin through the words "pin here" to tag can easily be detached at time of sale
Tags for shoes should be secured with either a pin or tape *

Do not tape through the perforated line on the tag.

Use packaging tape - scotch tape tends to fail before the sale is over.

Price Your Items

Successful selling points usually range from 10 – 20% of the retail price
-
White tags are reduced to ½ price on Saturday. All items must be priced ending in an even dollar amount or 50 cents. For example, $1.50, $3.00. Yellow tagged items will not be reduced on Saturday.

Jackets/Coats $5.00 - $20.00

Any item received without a price will be priced by the Committee’s discretion.

If you have many low priced items, you may consider marking them with a seller ID #50 to donate - 100% of the proceeds to Butterfield Family Association.
Prep Your Items

Example of a properly hung item
All toys with loose pieces must be sealed in clear plastic bags
Books sold as multiples must be in plastic bags
Puzzles should be sealed in plastic wrap or in a plastic bag which is taped closed
Tags for toys should be secured with either a pin or tape *

Do not tape through the perforated line on the tag.

Use packaging tape - scotch tape tends to fail before the sale is over.
If you use clear plastic bags to package your item, tape the left side of the tag to the outside of the bag.
Books must be white tagged and if sold individually, the tag must be placed on the inside front cover of the book.

Saturday, October 26, 4 -4:30 pm
* Pick up yellow tag items that were not sold, reminder emails will not be sent. Any goods left after 4:30 pm will be donated to local charities.
Sellers' Checks Distributed
Week of November 17
* Checks will be either mailed or sent home with students to sellers for goods sold
